If your looking for Easy Driving Directions you just might want to avoid this site. Us Local Map.com has made numerous improvements it still doesn't perform the basics properly. Gone is most of the spammy stuff that used to accompany it's maps, like links to advertising that were presented like information you wanted, like weather and traffic. Now it's mostly a google-maps type interface with just a small amount of advertising.

While removing all the unwanted advertising and suspicious material was a great positive step, the basics are still important. Their interface is simple and powerful. It's a lot like google maps is. However, it's "glitchy" often behaving erratically. Who needs that when they're looking for EZ driving directions?

USLocalMap could use a bit of improvement. As it is it is unable to compete with the other online map applications available. We will continue to monitor them and report any improvements

USLocalMap still offers all the basic map tools, such as zooming, including route plotting and travel distances and etc., as other mapping sites. Though it is simple to use, the map quality leaves something to be desired.
